Welcome to Beechview Academy.

Vision and Values

Our Vision

To create a nurturing school that fosters a love for learning within our children, empowers them to fulfil their potential and prepares them for secondary education.

Our Mission

As a junior school, Beechview Academy’s mission is to;

  • Provide consistent high quality teaching and enriched learning opportunities.
  • Develop a creative and engaging curriculum which meets the needs of each pupil and develops their interests and talents.
  • Offer a broad range of exciting and relevant experiences.
  • Provide a safe and nurturing learning environment.
  • Work in partnership with families and members of our local community.
  • Provide clear and consistent expectations on behaviour and learning.
  • Recognise the rich and diverse community we serve and celebrate religious and cultural differences.
  • Equip our children with the social skills and academic knowledge for the next stage of their education.

Our Values & Ethos

Beechview Academy advocate fundamental British values which include mutual respect for and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.

We promote our children's Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural development and embed Beechview's core values throughout every aspect of our school life, where we want our children to be

     - Ambitious                    - Brave                        - Caring

     - Confident .                  - Persistent                 - Kind

     - Curious                        - Independent           - Helpful

     - Resilient                      - Honest                      - Respectful

     - Community minded

Building on our strong relationship with Marsh Infant School, the culture at our school is underpinned by the belief that mistakes are valuable opportunities to learn and grow.

Here at Beechview Academy the children and staff have shared expectations for the learning behaviour in and around our classrooms. We understand that others have the right to their learning and are conscious of this when moving around the school. Efforts and achievements in learning are rewarded and we celebrate when the children go over and above!
