Experiences/background/why I became a governor – (optional)

I became a governor of Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School many years ago, having been invited to join the governors as a parent and because of my professional experience as Director of a large infrastructure company. I then became a Director of the MET, as above, before becoming Chair of Governors of Beechview. Beechview is a great school and community and I am pleased to be part of it. I am excited by the increasing standards and opportunities that are being delivered.

I am currently a stay at home mum, PTA member and volunteer at Marsh Infant School, with previous experience in office management and before having children, was a successful TV Studio Manager for Pinewood Television. The day was variable and high pressured with a strong focus on Health and Safety and logistics of the teams and talent within the Studio, and the public who entered site to enjoy the show as an audience member.

We are a committed, loyal family with a Son at Beechview Academy, who is proud and enthusiastic to be a part of your school. I would love to see this school thriving again so we can feel as proud, to say he attends here.
