SCHOOL GATEWAY 

We try very hard to keep parents regularly informed about what’s going on at the academy, however, sending paper letters home can be rather ‘hit and miss’ with letters often going astray on the way!

We are also increasingly aware of the substantial cost and environmental impact associated with the amount of paper and photocopying involved.

To help improve these areas we have decided to use a service called Schoolcomms, which is used by various schools across the UK to communicate with parents by emails and text messages. Schoolcomms will be beneficial to you because:

• Messages will get to you reliably
• We can send messages directly to mums and dads at the same time
• You will quickly know about important or urgent messages

What you need to do now: To use Schoolcomms – School Gateway, please complete and return the attached information sheet to the school office as soon as possible.

Download the app: If you have a smartphone, please download School Gateway from your app store (Android and iPhone). The app shows the same information as the website PLUS you can send app messages to the school for FREE – this will also save the school money when we send text messages.

Visit the website: www.schoolgateway.com and click on ‘New User’. You will receive a text message with a PIN number. Use this PIN to login to School Gateway.

If you are having trouble activating your School Gateway account, it may be because Beechview does not have your current email and mobile phone number on record. Please ensure Beechview have your correct details.
