“Believe you can and you’re halfway there”

Christmas Jumper Day Friday 14th December -A small donation of 50p to go towards the charity Save The Children.

Reading Records

You should be reading every day and getting reading records (due daily) signed by your parent or guardian.

As well as books you could also try reading a newspaper or a theatre programme; as long as it is educational and helps you develop your vocabulary and practice your reading skills.

Remember you can read to yourself but it is helpful to practice reading aloud too.

You can change your book band reading books as needed, they are kept on the shelves outside the year 4 classrooms.

Here is a list of the children and which book band colour they should be reading.

(ps: the book band colours are applied after children have completed a reading test.)
